K&N Gen II vs. NISMO

Alright so I installed my friends NISMO intake yesterday and I LOVE the way it sounds and looks! I'm freakin stoaked on getting an intake so I want one now! Im looking at the K&N Generation II because of price, and I was wondering what YOUR personal opinions were on the sound, and power out of them.. because I have not heard or tested the K&N, but it's about 50$ cheaper..

Re: K&N Gen II vs. NISMO

i have the nismo cai. INstall for me was just a tad of a pain in the ***, but the results are great. Dude, just about any intake will give you roughly the same HP and TQ gains, so its really your personal choice

They're all about the same give or take a horse.

Try the search function. If you have trouble, consider reading the "sticky" on intakes at the beginning of this Titan Performance Modifications section.

Re: K&N Gen II vs. NISMO

Price wise...the AEM was the best...dry filter...can't beat it. All the others are pretty much the same with wet filters, that require cleaning your MAFS once in a blue moon. Volant is prbably the nicest one out there.
