effects after timing advance long term?

I know there is info on this but couldn't find particular question. How long have you had advance or how many miles, and is truck still run strong with no knocks etc from engine?

Long term effects? None that I've heard of either. Other than extra "grin" wrinkles. Some say that their mileage has gone down (and I'm in that camp), but no detrimental effects to the components or longevity of the engine that I've heard of.
