Better gas mileage...

This may have been addressed before, but has anyone had any luck with those turbine/tornado type gas mileage enhancers...or any other trick to help get better mileage? And before you say it....If I wanted good gas mielage i shouldn't have bought a Titan. I realize this, as this is my 2nd Titan, but I would still like to get a little better gas mileage. Any suggestions appreciated.

Thanks

Don't waste your time. They are junk and are a scam to make money. If you must have it then I would recommend the throttle body spacer. I doubt it will save gas and see horsepower but it will give you a better whistling sound.

Keep it off the floor, and maybe a K&N drop in............

Re: Better gas mileage...

Nothing you can do will drastically change you fuel economy save removing the bed, unused seats, and swapping to steelies with passenger car tires. Talk about ugly though.... If ya'll had a good tuner you could lean out the base fuel table considerably for highway cruise conditions and pick up 3 - 4 mpg. You don't have that option yet so keep up on your maintenance and watch your tire pressure. Could get a good fuel pressure gauge...you'll be surprised how much fuel you waste on the highway by having you foot resting on the gas pedal. Even very slight pedal pressure shows a few psi increase in fuel pressure on my truck. And cruise control is usually more agressive than it should be when keeping pace up a hill. So I watch the gauge and keep my foot off so that the fuel pressure is as low as possible without decelerating.

Re: Better gas mileage...

I bought the scan GaugeII and watch the real time mpg gauge I have picked up over 2mpg on avg a tank just by adjusting my driving style.
