Flowmaster Dual 2.25" in, Dual 2.25" out

I got my Flowmaster 70 series dual in 2.25", Dual 2.25" out to the sides with the stainless tips, but I am rather disappointed in the sound. I thought the sound would be closer to the clips on Flowmasters web site. It is just a hair louder then the stock exhaust.

With the exception of I now have sound from both sides of the truck. I ran the 2.25" pipe to the end out the sides and it looks tiny at best. I should of flaired it up to 2.50" or so at the tips for appearance purposes.

I wonder if drilling a hole in there some where might make it a little louder

I am hopeing after a little more milage ( 548 miles so far ) on the truck it will perk up a little.

Randys Custom Exhaust in Marysville, WA. did the Install for me. I cant say enough for the work this guy does. Top Quality work and craftmanship from start to finish.

I haven't noticed any drone at any RPM rage as of yet, and because I need 1200 Miles for WOT butt Dyno testing I will try to see if the feel is any better at the Pump and Pedal. So far I have been getting average 12.8mpg per the Nav in the truck, all around driving.

Re: Flowmaster Dual 2.25" in, Dual 2.25" out

I have an 07 also, but I got the super 40 dual in dual out. Pretty loud and aggresive sounding. Thinking about changing to the Magnaflow though. I didn't notice any difference in pep. dyno after AEM Brute force and Super 40 305hp, 350 torque at the wheels. Still have the 0-20 lag.
