Re: More Power

The quickest and cheapest way IMO is the 2* timing advance. You could do the factory air box mod. If you want more power you can do the stuffs mentioned above.

Re: More Power

The 2* timing advance is the way to go for sure. I am not sure what it does if you don't have any mods, but it woke my truck up BIG time. I honestly wasn't expecting that much out of it. The only way I was able to tell a difference in my truck with the mods I had done before the advance was going to the track, nothing on the butt dyno. The 2* advance I felt as soon as I left the dealer and was good for 2/10 and 2mph in the traps all for $45

Re: More Power

the 2*timing advance, where should I go to get that done, and how much $? How long does it take to do? Will it affect my torque?

1st: Check with your dealership. Some of them won't touch it, talk about it, or even tell you where you can get it done, and some don't know what it is...hehe. So, you might have to look around for one that will do the timing mod. 2nd: Depending on where you are located you can expect to pay between $45-$100 for the advance at a dealership. If you're lucky, one of the guys in here that has the equipment, and is close to you, might be willing to work-out a deal with you(ask around in here). 3rd: You'll notice an improvement in the low-end torque and a little in mid-range. I would suggest looking into a CAI and exhaust first, but that's just my opinion.

Dave

Mods: Not as many as some, but enough to embarass a Hemi, 'Stang GT and any other ricer/wanna-be poser. Bring it on... and you better come strong.

...was that a hemi that I just ran over?
