I spoke to a rep at STS Turbo (Squires Turbo Systems) today and I was told that about two weeks ago they got the go ahead to start developing a turbo for the Titan. He told me that they should be seeing something coming to market in the next three to four months. I asked about the problem with tuning software availability and he assured me that they had that covered. I started this coversation with them about six months ago in hopes of an optin to the supercharger. They currently have one employee with a titan that they are going to try first and then he asked me to direct anyone interestedin participating in the R&D to call them and the system would be done at a discounted price. Unfortunately they are in Utah and I am in NC, and I cant be without my truck for extended periods of time as it is my primary mode of transportation. I am just glad to see the aftermarket starting to take notice.

thats good to know! I have a couple of friends with STS dual turbos on there 5.3's chebys. They seem to love them and they look like good kits. Cannot wait to see them for the titan.
I wouldn't dingleberry my Titan if given to me for free...do a Google search for these units...look at all the blowed up engines.
Do yourself a favor and look up all the engines that have blown using a regular under the hood turbo??? It has nothing to do with where the turbo is located, its due to people now know what they are doing or how much boost their engine can take.
Also look up how many people are happy with their STS turbo's and for find another turbo kit for the same amount of money..
Now that I have said that... An under the hood turbo would be more effiecent when making power, but the STS cars have had great success with their systems. Also they sounds amazing(I have seen and ridden in a STS powered car personally) and make good power for the price. You will not find anything else that makes this good of power for the money beside nitrous.

Video of a 350z with the STS kit on it running around an Autox track... Sounds good turbo wise, but Im not a big fan of the sound from the exhaust... A little too fast and furious sounding for me.. But a good video
Ive been talking to STS for the last year on and off. I got a good price but everytime i ask about tuning they said they will figure it out. They dont realize the complications unless they sub out the kit to uprev or sombody that can tune... Oh wait thats uprev only lol
STS doesnt have to turn it... Just have your car tuned after the install with your uprev or a tuner like that! These things work great for the money and sounds bad *** too. Im not looking to go really fast, just have some extra power when I get on it since my truck is lifted and I lost a little power.
I would rather have the turbo under the hood. STS has 6524578 miles of plumbing that takes a while to pressurize.
That is really my only complaint. Other then that they are decent turbos. I knew a guy with a Z28 Camaro with a big *** STS kit. That thing was fast as hell.

Didn't someone post about these guys a while back??? After viewing their website I now recognize the pics for the "general turbo applications". All that plumbing and the turbo itself is located under the vehicle in harm's way???? No thank you!!!! If they come up with somethiing nice and neat tucked in the engine bay and the price is within reason then it would be nice.
