Uprev comes to me

Due to living about a 3 day drive from Uprev in Austin getting tuned was only a dream. I emailed Matt at Uprev to see if it is possible for a Canuck to get tuned. He informed me about a new shop in Calgary, Alberta (6 hrs away from me) and gave me the phone number. I am now on the way to getting tuned. Best part...he has full Uprev support and will bring the dyno to me if required. How could I be so lucky to have the only guy in Canada end up so close......

Christmas comes early for me this year :cheer:

Calgary is about 1190 miles (per mapquest) from Minneapolis. So add your distance to Minneapolis and there ya go. His website will be up and running in about a month or so. I soooo can't wait!!!!!!

Re: Uprev comes to me

A new shop??? Is there a new business partner? I was thinking the other day, while reading the S/C post from Kyle wonder if any big companies have contacted Uprev?

I wished that had access to a dyno and tuning facilities whn i installed the JWT cams. Only because it took a few tries and some headache tuning mine. If you are at their facility there wouldnt be any waiting on an e-tune even though it is easier and cheaper.

How much money and time do you think you invested in swapping those cams out?

I was going to but then the truck doesn't get the full monty...dyno runs. I also like the fact that he wants to get right into the Titan (and toyota) aftermarket stuff, no other shop in these parts even understands what the Titan is packing, so they don't care...they think it is the same as a 1983 Datsun or something.
So this will be areal treat to have a gearhead that likes my truck

Re: Uprev comes to me

*UPDATE*
The shop that is going to be installing my Uprev stuff is set to open in February. He called me direct the other night and wants my truck as one of the first they do because the Uprev guy will be there to aid in his grand opening. This means the Uprev will be tuning my truck, I will get a discount and my Titan may be used in advertising. Nothing like getting a tune right from the 'horse's mouth' so to speak

I was gonna buy a new Husky SM510R bike, but that is now officially on hold..bikes are sold everyday but the Austin boys won't be back here again...especially coming up here in February....lol
