If your Titan is an FFV there is no problem with the GEN 2. The GEN 3 is needed for non-FFV Titans. S&B will replace any GEN 2 tubes free of charge.

Re: S&B intake 2nd generation

The intake tubes for GEN 1 and 2 have a 3.25" ID, GEN 3 has a 3" ID.

Re: S&B intake 2nd generation

thanks for the reply sudden.
I was asking because I bought a new one on ebay for $145 and wanted to know which one I got, I must have a gen 1 or 2, but I have a ffv, so I hope it works out, I havent installed it yet.
so is there any major differences between 1 or 2? I didnt find an answer any place.

Re: S&B intake 2nd generation

Gen 1 had a problem with the MAF sensor mounting surface. It didn't seal properly and let air in. The unmetered air would cause a lean condition that tripped a CEL. I'm sure S&B would exchange that tube for the GEN 3 tube, just give them a call.
