Bully Dog!
Bully Dog has launched a new power pup downloader for the titan. Add up to 23 hp to the rear wheels. Comes out in April of 2008. I work at a diesel performance shop. And they called my boss, because he told them i have a titan. So they are letting me test one out! Before they start selling them. I will let you guys know how it is.

No, its not a piggy back. Its a downloader. You plug in in to your computer port, load it on and go. It has three different settings. One you can run 87 on.

From the sound of it, it will come pre loaded with different MAPs, you chose the one you want and load it. It's far from a custom tune, this was the concept Cobb was heading in before they scraped it.
Look like it's already available according to this site http://www.jdsperformance.com/index....empartno=44590 * Stock: Stock engine settings will result in no change to engine horsepower output but will allow you to change vehicle specific features such as tire size re-calibratoin, speed limiter removal, transmission shift settings, etc. * Regular: This engine tune/program is recommended for use with 85 or 87 octane gasoline. For maximum effectiveness, end users should increase the shift firmness and shift points. This tune can be used for everyday driving and towing. Dynamometer tesing results have shown a 10-15 horsepower increase in rear wheel horsepower. These horsepower results vary depending on application. * Premium: This engine tune/program is recommended for use with 91 or 93 octane gasoline. It is recommended that shift firmness and shift points be raised with this engine tune. This tune can be used for everyday driving, towing, and racing. Dynamometer testing results have a 24-30 horsepower increase in rear wheel horsepower.

First big news in programmers in.... a long f*cking time.
Hopefully it pans out with some noticeable performance gains. 25hp would be quite nice.
