Nismo Cat Back on Stock Truck?

The recent price slash on the Nismo cat back really has me wanting to order one. I've always been impressed with the quality and fit of the system. I also like that no cutting or welding is required. If I ever sell or trade my Titan, I can take it off and replace the stock system.

However, my 05 is still bone stock. Will I be wasting money on the Nismo system with an otherwise stock vehicle?

My future mods, in order:

CAI
Uprev
Tru-Trac

I have no plans to ever install headers or high flow cats. My mods will be limited to the list above.

Basically, I'm looking for whatever will get me the fastest 0-60mph times with the above mods. My truck is my daily driver, and I want my extra power to be in a useable range; freeway merging, for example. I don't ever go to the track, so I'm not worried about having the quickest 1/4 mile time. I just want a fun street vehicle that will embarass most other trucks.

Re: Nismo Cat Back on Stock Truck?

Well you have to start somewhere and the exhaust is probably the best place to start. The Nismos keep backpressure where you want it with minimal loss of torque. Most of us bought Banks systems and where "forced" to buy a cai to get back some of the low end. I don't think you'll have this problem with the Nismo and besides it sounds great. The Uprev takes advantage of the mods you already have. The exhaust is probably the the first thing mod you should do and it really gets other people's attention when you get on it. Have fun.

Re: Nismo Cat Back on Stock Truck?

The Nismo Titan True Dual Exhaust Increases 11hp And 8 Lb-ft At The Rear Wheels. I Work At Vann York Nissan Parts Dept. And Have Had Every Customer Say They Could See A Nice Improvement. Also They Said It The Best Money Spent Other Than The Nismo Cold Air Intake. You Can Call For Prices On Any Titan Factory Or Aftermarket Accessory. 884-4124 My Name Is Brandon

Re: Nismo Cat Back on Stock Truck?

How much is the Nismo with the price reduction? I'm considering it also on a stock 4X4.
