Talking Programmers

Well it seems once again that we all have our hopes up for maybe nothing. I have still been talking to Bullydog, Edge, Hypertech, Diablo. Maybe one of these days someone will step up and help us guys out. So on the other hand does anyone have any info on Bullydog or Diablo.

Re: Programmers

I talked to Bully Dog yesterday and asked for an email reply, here is the latest email from them:

As far as the release date goes, I was told may 1st, but as far as release dates go that probably means late May to early June. I may be wrong, but they have not yet sent out the betas on the Nissan downloaders so it may be even later than that. As far as the throttle limiter goes, the downloader will in fact allow you to adjust and remove the limiter on the titan. If you have any more questions feel free to email me back.

The limiter part is an answer to my question on having WOT at 0 MPH.

Re: Programmers

No worries, its coming. Those are just rumors man. I would rather have someone doubt us now then to release a product that fails, if you know what I mean. We just use a long testing cycle to ensure product quality.

I’ll let you know when we get close.
Thanks,

Re: Programmers

We in fact are going to make a module. We just purchased our Titan, and will begin working on it in July. I would expect that this module will be available for sale around December.

Re: Programmers

Wonder why it would take them so long to release a product that Cobb Tuning already did most of the R&D leg work on?
Maybe Cobb was pulling our legs all along when they say they were working on something.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

El Paso, TX – MSD Performance is excited to announce its investment in and partnership with Cobb Tuning Inc. MSD has acquired an interest in Cobb and will work collectively with the talented engineers and staff of Cobb Tuning to develop advanced tuning products for the import car and truck market.

Cobb Tuning is a leading developer and manufacturer of performance products for Subaru, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Mazda and Infiniti vehicles. Cobb’s product portfolio includes handheld programmers, cold air intakes, exhaust systems and sophisticated suspension components custom designed for the needs of import enthusiasts. The partnership with MSD will allow Cobb to continue expanding its product portfolio and enhance its distribution.

“The investment in Cobb Tuning will accelerate MSD’s plans to offer its industry leading tuning products to customers in the import market,” MSD Performance’s CEO Dan Gresham stated. “We recognize that the full size truck market has become a competitive battleground for Japanese manufacturers. MSD is striving to stay ahead of this trend by developing sophisticated performance products for all vehicles, domestic or import. Our partnership with Cobb Tuning will give us that ability.”

Cobb Tuning’s owner and President, Trey Cobb stated, “We have been friends with the MSD Performance team for years. Formalizing this partnership will give us the ability to pursue a variety of new product platforms. Combined with the financial and technical wherewithal of MSD, the sky is the limit for Cobb Tuning.”

Anyhow look like UpRev is still king and far ahead of the pack.

Re: Programmers

Once again Edge said they are working on a 07 but still said they had a lot of work to get done. So far the 08 is not supported sucks for me, but in time they will hopefully support the 08.
