JBA or Magnaflow Install

I'm looking at changing my OEM exhaust. I was looking at the magnaflow pn#15848 but after reading the install directions it looks like you have to cut the piping and leave a 12inch length to attach to.

I've looked at the JBA pn# 40-1400 and is this a direct bolt on without any cutting? I did look at the install directions and there was no mention of it but I would like to be sure.

Re: JBA or Magnaflow Install

Either one is going to require cutting & welding. The Titan muffler is welded in place. There is a joint behind the muffler for the tailpipe, but most shops will cut the tube at the muffler and re-weld that to the tail (with the joint).

If your truck is an 07 or newer (Dual in, Single Out) then one of the in tubes will likely need to be cut father up and rotated 180* to provide the proper spacing going into the new muffler.

The new Magnaflow catback 16780 or 16781 are bolt on, no cutting and will fit 04-08 SWB Titans. The JBA 40-1400 is all bolt on, no cutting required.
