Cannot find one......

Can anyone tell me where (if they exist yet) to find a NISMO exhaust for the 2008 KC? I have been through all of the vendor's sites and fail to see them.

Is there someone to call?

I'm in the Chicagoland area if that helps.

Rich

Re: Cannot find one......

Call Jeff (Bodean) 1-866-830-4318... If anyone can get you one, he's the man. May be out of stock at the moment, what with Nismo clearing out their stock and all.... But give him a call and let us know what's up.

Re: Cannot find one......

Thanks BB.

I talked to Jeff, he is sold out. But may be able to brew something up.

I just have to wait and see...

Re: Cannot find one......

Yeah.. Everyone is sold out.. Warehouse clearance... Reformatting the Nismo products. Could take a bit of time for new ones to start hitting the aftermarket... Glad I got one just in time...

Re: Cannot find one......

Like what do you mean by reformating. I would love to see them make headers and put a high flow cat on them so i would just be a bolt up kit. that is just my 2 cents worth.

Re: Cannot find one......

From what I've gathered, the parts, being only available through dealerships, was clogging up their PDC. That meant they couldn't stock other parts they needed.

They would like to market and distribute the Nismo parts as aftermarket and not through the dealer network. This will produce more competitive pricing and more options. I would expect that they are revamping some of the offerings, adding new products, and tooling up their production facilities to accomodate the increased buyer traffic once things are available through competing aftermarket distributors.

It should be interesting.....

Re: Cannot find one......

All they would have to do is make a non-street legal version with high flow cats for racing purposes only. To take care of them and us. JBA said they couldn't because of this reason because they said they couldnt touch the cats. But if they were for racing then what would it matter. I wish Stillen, JBA, Nismo or someone would chime in on this.

Re: Cannot find one......

They are already non-street legal items... That's what the "R-Tune" means... That's "Race" or "Offroad" use only. "S-Tune" is street legal.

But I agree. The coupling of a hi-flo cat integrated into the system would be awesome.... It would be nice to be able to get a bolt-up system from the heads back. That would be worth the money, IMO, especially after seeing the quality that the Nismo is built with. The catback is better than factory!
