Love My New Exhaust

Well got my truck exhausted out today. Brought it to my muffler shop guy and he put true duals on the truck with NO mufflers and 4inch tips. I love the sound its so deep and loud. Theres no other truck around loud as mine I now have to ease through town not to get a ticket so no more gunning it in town, but around my house (out of town in the sticks) i can rack on it and race up n down the road. It seriously sounds exactly like a nascar truck if thats believable. I love it true duals no exhaust gotta try it guys!!!

you gotta set of earplugs? for the females? loudest exhaust i've heard on a titan is DezertRunner's true dual with Flowmaster Race mufflers (single chamber) not that it really does anything, but that's the loudest i've ever heard. bad aass but unfriggin-unbearable for the long haul. can only imagine yours is only a scosche louder.

nahh my gf heard it on the crank up and it shook her car which was setting right beside my truck and she loved it. She likes loud trucks, so im good in that part, but ive not heard many other titans so that one might be louder i wish i had a decibel meter to read the db on the rev.

i guess you havent heard one with cutouts right after the headers. thats loud

it all depends and unless we have a decibel meter we wouldn't really know. i removed my stock exhaust before putting on my current exhaust and ran with just the pipes right after the cats... it was loud but no where near as loud as the dual flowmaster race mufflers.

i'm happy with mine, just a cherry bomb extreme muffler....sounds good, nice and loud....sounds like a big block at WOT

i have had this same set up on my 08 since october of 2007. only diffrence is where the muffler was i installed an x-pipe. and have 3-1/2" tips by 18" long

yea i understand that i had the 3 1/2 by 18 tips on my old chevy but wanted to go bigger for a deeper sound on my titan and absolutely love the 4 inches taht are on there now

Loudest exhaust I ever heard was a set open race headers with dumps on my 69 Camaro SS with a 400ci SBC on high compression...HAH! that thing was stupid loud, of course race cars usually are a bit on the loud side...

I have heard several trucks with true duals, some sound good, some sound horrible. most are too loud for me...My 94 Ranger had a 5.0 302 in here and had custom headers that turned straight up and came out the top of the hood...That didnt last long...

I got a pretty good idea what it sounds like, True duals with no mufflers on anything is loud. i dont wanna even imagine what it sounds like on a truck with a real engine in it.

When i was growing up alot of the guy had the Newish style Dodge trucks with the small V8 in em. this was the years right before the "Hemi" was offered in em. Them guys started putting true duals on em and that was the loudest most annoying exhaust I ever heard on a truck.

I'll see if i can use my little brothers skateboarding camera to make a vid of it cranking and revving up...Try to get it up soon...maybe tomorrow (Friday) if it doesn't break the camera.
