I'm betting they need some more sugar, lol.

It's definitely good to see them Beta testing and a fair indication that they want to release a quality product. Hopefully they will be able to incorporate the functionality the engineers desire before it's final release.

No doubt. I think that unless BullyDog themselves were offering the money back deal, I would hang around and wait for the Cypher results before purchasing this.

Nothing against the companies listed but the days of an internet handshake deal with no sure way to get hold of them are gone.

Re: bd

Well, I ordered this thinking it was released for sale as of May 1. We don't have any idea when it may be shipped . I'm kinda disappointed even though it's just $300. The only reason I haven't ordered UPREV is I don't like the idea of having to contact the vendor for help in returning the truck to stock before a visit to the dealer. Aftermarket support sure was better for my gone (and missed, I sold it to my nephew) Mustang GT. I had it tuned with a DiabloSport Predator. I wish we had something similar for the Titan.

Re: bd

I have nothing but speculation to base this one, but my guess is that BD has been watching these discussions and the delays are a direct result of what has been written here (and other places)

I'm guessing they didn't have an answer for WOT in v1.0, and they were hoping no one would notice. From these discussion, it's quite apparent that that wasn't going to fly so they went back to the board needing to find a way to enable WOT (or something darn close to it), retest and get sign-off from the legal/warrenty department etcetera, etcetera (or maybe they are still in meetings arguing about the whole thing). Anyone who works in business can imagine how this crap works (and doesn't).

They will be first to market for the Titan and since Titan sales are so pathetic (compared to the others) - first to market could mean they have it cornered. But the bottom line is that they have a brand/image to uphold and protect.

You may be confused.....or something I dont know. All you have to do is select the appropriate tune from the steering wheel cruise controls. I dont think it gets any easier than that. Even the BD you have to pull the programmer out and hook to your OBDII and change it. So Uprev has the advantage there.

I think he means when you totally remove UpRev, not just using the stock map. However, I'm not sure why anyone would want to completely remove the software. Most dealers, at least the ones I've dealt with, are pretty clueless about their own products, much less an aftermarket mod.

Re: bd

Regarding the BD situation, I'm tired of the games. I just sent Uprev an email, asking if they would consider an Osiris group purchase at a discounted price.

Lots of people, myself included, are frustrated with the lack of BD information. If UpRev could lower their price a little, I think a lot of folks would jump ship.

Even if they won't offer a group buy, I think I'm still going to cancel my pre-order for the BD.
