You just one upped yourself for the most useless reply on this thread!!! Congrats!!!

There is some hypocritical stuff happening up in here for sure!

Why are we arguing over this piece of plastic? I can only blame Bullydog for this uproar. They should not have let anyone talk about this product before release. The so called "testers" they chose should have only reported directly to Bullydog until the product was final. maybe they got what wanted....negative and positive feedback?

well it seems like the market has come alive recently. I would start with one of the early MFR's like Barret unless you are looking for a semi. Hell gander Mountain carries .50cal's here. It's like going to Wal-mart and saying......yep that'll do!

I shouldn't have hijacked this thread. Sorry about that. I will start another thread soon, about the different .50's. Pro's and con's of each. Back to BD

Re: bd

We might as well talk about the .50s. It's not like we've got any more info on the BD than we had two hours ago.

Are you talking about completely REMOVING Uprev from your ECU? If so, then yes, you must call Uprev and have them walk you through that.

so if you have Uprev completely remove it from the ecu does that mean that you will have to have uprev retune your ecu again and pay the same price? or they will retune it for free? thanks!

Re: bd

This thread has gone south in a bad way. I have been sitting on the sidelines watching. There is little useful information about the BD, people are arguing, long time members have been banned, and it has become a thread about guns instead of the BD. I have never seen one product cause so much trouble.

It's not the product's fault.

No. The ECU simply holds a computer program. All the vital parameters of the engine and accessories run from this program. The Uprev tune is just a set of parameters that replace the stock parameters in the ECU. When Uprev is removed, the stock parameters are put back in place. You don't pay anything. It's just like downloading a file from the internet to your home computer. Nothing more or less.

Re: bd

I guess it would be easier if we just waited until they were released to the entire public and then we could talk about the programmer and what it does. We still have a long way to go. EDGE is coming out with something so is hypertech which then means Diablo and so on.
