Re: Performance chip...what one?

As of now here's your options

UpRev - Best thing since sliced bread

VK-Pro - Plug and Play module (VK-Pro 2 now available)

Unichip (good for those who like less HP).

TechnoSquare - One of the first available but not much feedback

Jet Performance - Same as above

Black box - Probably the 1st, very simple but limited in what it can do. Plus the guy bail out of town.

Ebay module - Cheap HP for $20 but will cost more in the long run.

Coming "soon" Bully Dog Power Pup

Re: Performance chip...what one?

uprev hands down the best for those that want to get every hp possible out of there truck....the bully dog LOOKS promising for some a few extra hp/tq and is cheap....but for balls to the wall performance, go uprev

I may be doing some "testing" for them. Local Service Manager wants to start advertising at his dealer the ability to do this. Needs a test truck and since I am his VIP customer..

oh joy!

stay tuned!

well you get WOT off the line (instead of at 40mph) and you can get base tunes, then when you add a mod you can re-tuned for free....i dont know hp number but i know it will give you .3-.6 in the 1/4 mile...and thats a huuuuge difference...check them out at uprev.com...you can also do 0-60 mph runs and see how your trucks running, if its not perfect you send in your logs and get a better tune...plus you can monitor everything that goes on in your truck

Im am aware of that but thanks for the reply. I should have been more specific with my question. What are the gains with premium tune and intake and exhaust (ballpark)?

I am going to UPREV next week and all that I have is AEM CAI Flowmaster 40 series exhaust and TT. I am going to get tuned on the DYNO so I will let you know when I return.
