Re: Peformance Chip

only option for a chip is the bullydog, which hasnt even been released to the public yet.

or you can go the uprev route.

Re: Peformance Chip

you should take a good hard look at uprev they can work wonders with the titans and sometime they will have a end-user product out so you can tune your truck on your own.

There is no bad exept the price... which for a custom tune with unlimited retunes is actually pretty fair.. The Good..... 1) uprev trucks are outrunning supercharged titans at the dragstrip... 2)can get up to 5 maps to flip through on the fly for different driving conditions, ex, performance, towing, valet, stock, etc. 3) removes the no full throttle till 40mph programmed stock you may not even be aware of!

Re: Peformance Chip

You would probably be better off with a 2* Timing advance for now. Just my opinion.

Your local Nissan dealer has all the required equipment to have it done, but the question is are they wiling to do it and for how much. At your local dealer you should be paying around $30-$45 and if your lucky enough to attend a car meet where someone is willing to do it for you they usually charge anywhere from FREE - $20 depending on the person. No CONS only PROS in my opinion. Some people complain about gas mileage drop, but there could be a number of factors why that happens not just the timing advance. I hear it is even more noticable of a power gain once you add a CAI and exhaust

**EDIT** I am assuming you were asking about the 2* Timing advance and responded with that in mind.

Re: Peformance Chip

It seems lilke you might want to look into the VK PRO II. Very easy plug and play install. I believe its about 30 hp.

"Set it! and FORGET IT!"

hahaha

Re: Peformance Chip

EDGE says December or something like that. When i talked to them on the phone they sounded like they couldn't wait. But i was told they bought COBBS tuning so i really do not no what is taking them all the way until December.
