how does this sound?

stillen long tube headers-stillen B-pipe- exited by a flowmaster high flow muffler

or just cut out the B-pipe??? which is better power wise?

Re: how does this sound?

if your looking for performance you need to ditch the flowmaster and get a straight thru muffler design like the jba catback or magnaflow, baffles restrict airflow and hinder top end performance

those times are before the built tranny and ipt upgraded stall went in, hopefully will drop nother .4 to .5 in e.t. when i return back to the track..

Ours will be somewhat diffrent cause i have the jim wolf camshafts and have 2.5" b-pipes with dynatech high flow cats, then it goes to the 2.25" jba catback then after the y-pipe it is a single 3" out the back passenger side.. this catback is only 315 bucks and imo the biggest bargain for any performance freak, sad thing is it took me 5 exhaust systems before i found it and wasted probably 2,500 in the process, lol
if you dont want to get the jim wolf cams stick with 2.25" after the headers and you'll be fine

here's some vids of my truck in action in the first vid you can hear the jba exhaust and stillen headers combo roar..

http://videos.streetfire.net/video/T...tan_139962.htm

heres the fastest my truck has went so far

i'd get the nismos if i had to do it all over again, you can custom make your own b-pipes for less than stillens, just need to find a exhaust shop to fab them up. total cost to make my b-pipes with highflow cats was like 380 bucks including thier labor of 100..

yea but if your pipes are too big after the b-pipes you will lose low end torque, needs to be around 2.25" to the y-pipe then 3" up to the muffler then 2" out the back if you have duals or whatever

headers directly connect to the b-pipes and that is where the high flow cats are, then after b-pipes is where a catback would start.. all the flanges should meet up perfectly whatever you decide to do

Re: how does this sound?

Yo Toomny, what kind of rims were you running your drag radials on? What size? Are they light? LMK thanks. Might purchase those rims for daily driving for that aggressive look thanks!

got them out of a jegs catalog, those are 16x8's and would fit the back but not the front.. but i do believe they also make them in a 17" size yea they are really light with slick and rim/tube it still barely weighs 40lbs
