are you saying the rails could be on opposit sides of motor or the conection could be backwards? i really appretiate you helping with suggestions
If I remember correctly, you need to make the wiring harness that attaches to the injectors runs around the backside of the motor, and is not running around the front. That seems to be a common grief point. Definately get your fuel pressure checked as Q recommended, while under boost. Worst part of the install for me was the fuel pump, and while you may trust your installer, if that was done poorly, or deemed "Unnecessary", you may be starving for fuel. If you ran good for awhile, check all your wiring. I had part if my injector harness rub against my jack shaft, and start wearing the outer jacket. Caught it before trouble, and wire wrapped it out of the way.

That can cause intermittent lean conditions and the truck will hopefully go into Safe Mode. It happened for me when I floored it.
The truck would not go over 2500 rpm. I would have to pull over and shut it down in order for it to get out of Safe mode.

well lets see, today we ruled out the MAFS put in a new one and no diff. we checked the injector harnesses they are correct. the fuel pump was upgraded during first install we checked that pressure it was at 50 psi, we also took the tank down took it apart and checked pump again while we were at it we drained the fuel and put $200 worth of race fuel did nothong. we also checked all wires for damage and made sure everything was located correctly. one good thing that happened today is after two months of screwing with this thing we actually got some codes out of it they are as follows TO300 B code ( random misfire ) also T2 138 code ( throtle position sensor / switch) and IDI-IEI voltage conect sensor And the engine light came on for the first time. ya hoo!!!! we are going to try to get it to nissan this weekend or first thing monday to see if they can run under boost while on the consult the only probem is it has gotten worse and we get barely get it over 2500 rpms we have to trailer it everywhere

Did your SC Kit come with the new plug and play wiring harness (same as from the VKPro, Pro II), or the fun do it yourself splice a headache wiring? I have not heard of many issues with the plug and play, except someone had the connectors corrode on them. It seems that alot of the functions in the the piggy back ECU are just to monitor voltage from a few sensors in the stock harness, intercept the crank position sensor to trick the factory ECU to adjust timing, and to read the the MAP sensor included in the kit to control the extra flow of fuel from the second set of injectors. Sounds like you have been very thorough in your troubleshooting, but it may be worth it to detach, and re-attach the harness intercept and check the voltage coming out of the MAP sensor. Also, I don't recall if your truck will start and idle without any issue. If it won't, I would pull the piggy harness, and direct attach again to help verify where the issue is. If Stillen has verified the piggy, perhaps a harness issue? Now I am just rambling on.

Heh, seems like we have had many of the same little issues. Did ya have any problems with your belt rubbing on the upper radiator hose? Would swear I had that done properly, but had it eat a little of it. Wire tied that too. I love them wire ties, almost as good as bailing wore for fixing issues. I now see in the newest version of the SC kit, there is a metal tube for connecting two parts of radiator hose together. Maybe someone else ran into same issue. At least Stillen is staying on top of stuff, and modifying the kit and instructions as issues are identified.

were is the map sensor i remember back during the the install we had an issue with that and stillen said there was not one. does not make sense to me but i would like to check into that it could be our main malfunction

bodytech, this is like a Good Novel. I'm really looking forward to the end of it. I feel bad that you are having so much problems. I don't have a SC, but have thought about it, your problems are an "eye opener" in that hey, if it can go wrong it will. Do keep us informed as to your progress, and I'm hoping the Resolution will be a Lost cost "ah, sh$t" find.
