Ok well here is a pic that i found of the 2007 nissan titan complete exploded view of the rear end, every piece you can see how its put together.
Now...other than larger axles can anyone point out exactly what was changed in 2008, because nissan is telling me nothing changed from year to year and that RINGPINION.com today told me (after asking him 3 times) if the part number TT 913A582 (trueTrac) would fit in an 08 and later, and he said ''yes''.
If this is still untrue, i'm calling nissan tomorrow and having them cross reference part numbers for the 2007 rear end and the 2008.5 and see what exactly was changed, hopefully nothing at all and this was all BS so us 08 and later guys can use a TT or swap out to 07 axles/carrier bearings, races...etc..
enjoy!

The inner splined ends of the axles slip fit into splines of the TrueTrac side gears. If the 2008+ have larger diameter rear axle shafts, it seems to me that the TT would not fit, unless the splined inner ends of the axle shafts are necked down to the same dimensions as the 2004 - 2007.

Then would it be possible to also have the gears on the TT machined to accept the larger 08 axles with out losing structural integrity?

Farewell titan you will be missed, your MPG will not PINKBARBIEWHORE™
There is nothing listed for the different years for the rear end other than small parts. The housing and internals are marked not for sale. I can only assume that any warranty claims for the damaged rears are covered by Nissan but Nissan sends the parts back to Dana for reimbursement. Strange that you can't buy anything for the rear. Maybe I'm just looking at an older parts guide.
Another strange thing is that there are different injectors for the 05-06 and 07+ FFV trucks.

kisses are on the second date, sent email to master tec should know something soon, i will try and get the nissan soft ware for diag and a pass code to get in, and yes i am good like that, as far as turbo- 5-7 psi max before piston failure. bottem end good pistons light. it is good to have worked for nissan for so long. will get answers as soon as i can, be patient the tech is doing some mods to the 240 converted to skyline and 700+ single turbo 300z
You should try to contact the guys at Eaton, they're the ones who have tried to fit one of their TruTrac units into a 2008...

Pure heresay on my end but I have heard the difference is that the axle shafts are larger, I know of no other change and I doubt many will be able to find out specifics of the carrier. If the spacing is the same then I would think you could respline the shafts smaller diameter and use the 06 or 07 TT.

Are we sure they actually tried? I've contacted them regarding 08 support a half dozen times and all they've ever said is "not yet, the rear end is different on that year."
It's totally possible that they got the spec sheets for the newest model and didn't even try because they assumed there was a difference. I mean, if the documents say it won't work why would you take the trouble to go find an 08 rear end and see for yourself...

mychael are you serious? you are building a turbo, but yet you didnt know the injectors were different? hmmm 07 isnt a ffv motor, it is vvt. that is the reason the injectors are different and why they dont make cams for 07,08,09 models, but they do for the pre o7
