Hoolie, Cipher is the logging software which I did not buy at this time. It is an extra $300 on top of Osiris. Sam, the owner of GTM is also the tuner and he did about 8 pulls, I don't remember exactly!

Re: Dyno Tuned

the hub dynos are 8 to 9% higher then roller dynos..from roller dyno to roller dyno they are only around 1 to 2% higher or lower then eachother...8% from roller to roller would be crazy thats like 25-30hp diff and 40 to 50tq diff....if you look at my hub dyno which was 360hp and 460ish tq and then look at my roller dyno numbers they are alomost exactly 8% to 9 % less which were 323 and 412

okay, already forgot, so what mike was showing me on his laptop was the Osiris software? that's my guess and so the Cipher is another program you hook up via the obdII port with a laptop that logs runs and normal driving?

i'm guessing what mike was showing me was the osiris software that showed gauges for just about every engine reading possible. then started to adjust his idle via his laptop and sho nuff the idle started to immediately adjust as he was making changes. just blows me away how everything is at the touch of a key stroke. being able to monitor and see what the engine is doing is awesome. can't wait to actually get uprev myself.

I know that's crazy insint it? It's unbelieveable how much technology plays into these vehicles now a days. I also want to get uprev someday.. Me and Jason ran a few runs against eachother today. His truck's top end is ridiculous and i would get him on the start and I could hold him off till we hit about 65-70 then his truck shifts and just pulls hard!

hahaha

his truck is badaass! you'll be there soon but as soon as you get there J will have already takin' his truck to another level. i'm willing to bet as soon as he's consistently doing 13s, he'll be shooting for 12s...

Re: Dyno Tuned

Hey Hoolie, Mike was showing you Cipher!! Osiris is the tuning software that you never physically see. Cipher is the program that shows you all of your gauges, diagnostics, and logs on your laptop. It is how you can monitor everything going on with your truck.
