Hopefully this hasnt already been posted. I recently got the stock 07' exhaust and im looking to get a muffler that will provide the BEST gains. I posted this on Clubtitan and pretty much everyone said the Magnaflow 18". I heard a few sound clips and it sounds decent. But man when i heard that Spintech Pro Street I was blown AWAY (props to Jgrace for the video). So my question is will dual spintech provide the same amount of gain or better as a single Magnaflow 18"

so long as you stick with the 2.25" piping. Spintech was bench flow tested along with several other brands such as Flowmaster and Magnaflow and a few others and the Spintech, no matter which series flowed more than the Magnaflows. if it flows better and sounds better, its pretty much an easy answer! by the way, Jgrace has dual Super Pro Street Spintechs... i have the Pro Street Spintech, one level down from the Super Pros, with the Super Pros being the loudest. i'd say mine sounds very similar to J's but his is a few decibels louder. my friend and fellow titan talk member SDTitan1 just bought my old Sportsman Series Spintech one level down from the Pro Street and he yanked his 18" Magnaflow off. after driving around with his newly installed Spintech, he called me to infom me of how awesome the truck sounds NOW with the new Spintech muffler.
Well if you got to spintech's web site I think they have the test results on there. But anyways in a flow test that was done there muffler flowed better than the magnaflow.

Spintech has been in the race/drag industry since 1995... in 1998, the spin/perforated metal deflectors was developed and spilled into the racing scene.
some other notables about Spintech:
* Traditional muffler designs remove sound in two ways: friction and absorption.Friction mufflers (stock type, turbo type, chambered) have high back pressure and can cause extremely high resonance and noise inside the vehicle at certain engine speeds (2000 to 3000) RPM.Absorption (packed mufflers) have a straight through design, they can have good flow but the packing begins to deteriorate and get louder as they wear out, and with modern engines the heat is very high which destroys the packing even
quicker.
* SpinTech's patented design provides maximum performance for today's modern engines. Its all done by means of a Spin sound trap, which captures sound vibration (noise) and turns it into heat within the muffler case. As exhaust gases enter they are routed to the spin traps which create a high velocity vortex trapping the sound waves. The extremely high flow rates are achieved by a unique internal scavenging system that creates a venturi effect.
* SpinTech mufflers are about as close to bullet proof as a muffler can get. With a 16 gauge fabricated shell and welded construction, you'll be hard pressed to do them much damage. The nice thing about 16 gauge steel - you can weld, and repair it, should either become necessary. Try that with a $19.95 special!
* Spintech mufflers get their name from the unique scroll-shaped sound traps welded into the muffler case. They mute objectionable sound waves without inducing unnecessary backpressure
no I hear ya I'm the same way. Hopefully I will be getting my pro street set up on Thursday if they dont have to go set up for the Off-Road Expo that day. I will post some sound clips so you can here the diff between jgrace's super pro street and the pro street. Will still be a little diff because I dont have headers on yet and he does.
