Question bedliners

I just got my titan about 3 weeks ago, and it doesn't have the bedliner.
Does anybody have any suggestions on if I should get a spray-in bedliner
(line-x, rhino linings) or a drop in liner. The prices are about the same.

Spray-ins are much better than drop ins IMO. Rhino or Line-X are the two most popular and praised.

I chose Line-x for these reasons:

1. $20 coupon offer on their site
2. They have one close to my work
3. Don't know the real story but the girl from Rhino said it'd take a whole day and I had to call in 5 days ahead. The girl from Line-X said it'd take 3-4 hours and I could bring my car in in 2 days.

Depending on your weather you'll probably end up with bed rust in the long run. I had a factory bedliner in my 88 Nissan and sure enough, when I lifted the liner after 5 years, the area near the tailgate was all rusted. I know others that have had the same problem with their liners. And this is in So. Cal. too.

If you do choose to go with line-x, write back and tell us how it went. I would like to know becouse I'm also trying to get a spray-in liner installed and would value the information. I have both rhino and line-x dealers avaliable and have yet to decide on which one to use. Thanks in advance for the reply.

My nephew works for a truck customization place that uses Line-X for the spray-ins that they do. He says that Nissan uses Line-X materials as the factory spray at the Titan plant and there is a squabble between Line-X and Nissan because Nissan is not spraying it to the same thickness as Line-X recommends. If this is true, you may get a thicker spray Line-X by having it done aftermarket.

Supposedly, Nissan spent $20 million setting up the capabilities to spray in the bedliner at their own factory.

I had the Hot Spray bedliner installed. I don't know if they are in other areas, but here they do all the county and Disney vehicles. Check how long the dealer has been there before deciding. Here in Orlando all the Line-x and Rhino dealers have been dropping like mad. Seems a new dealer is opening every month to replace them. I've heard any warranty work is a pain to get covered snce the original installer is gone in most instances.
