Top end terminal speed?

What's top end speed on an unmodified Titan? What about one that's been modified? What's normal unmodified 1/4 mile time?

Re: Top end terminal speed?

112 or 114mph from factory I believe. Most programmers can change it to pretty much whatever, but why? It's a truck not a racecar. Even in the 1/4 you aren't likely to reach that fast w/o alotta mods. Not sure on the time.

Re: Top end terminal speed?

I know there more left at the factory speed limit of about 115 mph...

Several programmers will allow removel of the speed limiter...130 mph?....

Re: Top end terminal speed?

At unlimited speeds of 130+ MPH, this truck is VERY UNSTABLE in stock condition... If you don't have some suspension and aero mods to keep it on the ground and going straight.... you're not very bright for one... for two.....

Re: Top end terminal speed?

Our trucks have the aerodynamics of a barn. I can not see why anybody would want to go over 100mph on a public road with these things. If you need to go that fast you need another vehicle.

Re: Top end terminal speed?

My truck started getting squirrely over 90 in stock trim...

I'll admit, with the PRG suspension and SAW's, it's now stable over 100 MPH. I don't see a need to do that very often, though, but it's nice that it offers me improved stability at the regular highway speeds I normally travel.

Re: Top end terminal speed?

Are 800HP + trophy truck tops out at 144mph ish, granited its got 562 gears and is turning a 39" BFG and weights 5600LBS. We had to make a trap door in the hood to let air out for under the truck cause at 120ish the nose would start to lift the front end of the truck. I dont want to have a titan going this fast with out 5 point belts, helmet and a chrome molly roll cage around me. I would got this fast it a GTR.

Is that a Titan you're talking about with 800hp? Wow!

Re: Top end terminal speed?

Cant speak for you Titan guys but us Qx/Armada guys are limited to 112 at WOT but if i back off to 1/2 it will go to 114-115. It seems stable at those speeds but the problem is the brakes. They are inadequate to stop something this big and heavy. Keep it safe there brother.
