I need to to a current one with my cam and updated mods...
Here is an old clip of mine with CAI, LTs, stall, tune.... I forgot to change the lock up settings in the tune which is why it sounds like it shifts at 95 MPH and laggs it... Right now I dont have the verter locking up going WOT... Its much better that way and faster.
here's where the non-cammed titan gets beat, but he had a tonneau cover on at one point (which made him .2 slower) and I don't kno0w if he had it on for this video or not....Just not feeling spending $2000 for that...If your building a true race truck thats actually fat, then they are a must, I will say that

I take it the one with cams doesnt have a higher stall converter right?

here is the last runs i made in my truck.. these where all n/a as my nitrous controller was fried and wouldnt even power on at all.. This was the first time at the track with the built IPT transmission which includes a 3400 stall, upgraded valvebody and beefed up internals. I spent the first 3-4 runs of the night trying to figure out what air pressure to have in my slicks but one thing remains the trap speeds are all 100mph+
was definatly a LOT harder to launch with the truck already leaving the line higher up in the power band Toomnymods Titan into the 12's N/A after IPT trann - Car Videos on StreetFire
this video is before i even had the tranny built and you can see a 13.7@99 is all i could achieve n/a and a 12.8@106 on 125 shot
Ask any old time drag racer and they will tell you most of your ET is in the first 1/8th mile. This is why Traction on the line is so important.
Take two Titans, Same Weight, Same Driving Ability, Same Mods Except one has the JBA Exhaust and the other has the Banks. The JBA should Win. Why, The JBA's smaller pipes has the Power in the lower RPM's, better 1/8th mile times, unlike the Banks Bigger pipes move the power in to the Higher RPM's, it takes it longer to get moving.
Cam's work the same, More Power in the higher RPM's. Now add cams to the Titans and the same Exhaust the smaller cammed Titan will have a better 1/8th mile time compared to a cammed Titan, the ET's will be close but Higher trap speed for the Cammed Titan. Add a TC to get the cam's in to there higher powerband quicker and the cammed Titan will win.
A TC will help out ET's even on a Stock Titan, But to high of a Stall will Hurt. A stock Titan with a Loose converter with the Stock Stall should pick up .1-.2 in the 1/4 mile. The stock TC will NOT Flash, stalled to 2000rpm the TC should flash to 2400-2600 before the Titan moves, It Does Not. This is what is hurting the ET's on ALL stock TC Titans.
