Hauling the '56er

Hey all...

I have been a TitanTalk lurker for a little while now...I purchased a 2004 Silver XE a few weeks ago...just got my K&N 77 Series Intake, Banks Power Monster Exhaust, and Tow Hitch installed. Love the intake and exhaust! I highly recommend them both!!! It all bolted up with ease!! You gotta love that!!!

The original reason for my post I have some pics from this past weekend. My roomate/good buddy of is restoring a '56 Bel Air and was doing all the work up in Merced, CA and needed to get it down to San Diego, CA. That's where I come in...

Enjoy!

PolarisTitan...

She towed like a dream! It was like that little hill they call the Grapevine wasn't even there...I had 2 buddies running defense for me...smooth sailing! The 5 freeway in coming through LA definitally gave everything a good rattle test. As far as the weight goes the trailer was 2000 lbs. and the Bel Air is just the Chassis and the Cab with some goodies packed in the trunk and a huge 4x4 steel stock for the car rotisserie. I'd call it about 2000 lbs. So all in all I'd say about 4000 lbs. and I had half of the rotisserie in the bed of the Titan...

If anyone is looking for a good car rotisserie...Sierra Solutions...Highly recommended!!!

I threw a few more pics up there of random night shots in a parking lot...

Thanks for the question Polaris...

Enjoy!

Your welcome, I just love seeing these trucks pulling trailers, I dont know why but I think it looks good. When I get mine (soon hopefully) I wll be pulling a 5500 lb fully enclosed snowmobile trailer with 4 sleds, so I'm trying to get an idea of how they two. Thanks for the response
