Skyjacker, Bushwacker, Centerline, and Nittos installed

Finally finished (partially*) with the install of the Skyjacker (DayStar) 2.5" coil spacers, Bushwacker fender flares, Centerline Stingray III 17x8 wheels, and Nitto Terra Grappler 295/70R17's.

*TPM's and Speedbleeders will go on whenever the bleeders arrive.

Well I wouldn't consider it all that aggressive, no more so than any other AT tire. The thing is that you'll be hard pressed to find a street tread tire that is 33x12.50 and not for bling bling rims. I like the looks of an AT tire over a road tire. My last truck had nothing but ATs and I only engaged the 4wd a couple times in actually driving situations (minus all the mudding.) Thanks for the compliments guys.

Thanks for posting Sammy. Looks sweet. I'm still on the fence about the flares though. Couple of questions...

1. How much clearance do you have on the front when turning the tires? Could a person go with say a 17x9 wheel with an equally wider tires (i'm guessing a 305)?

2. Is there clearance with those flares the same as the stock flaps? Less? More?

3. Compared to the BFG A/T, how is the tire noise on those Nitto tires? I really like the look of them.

I really couldn't say for sure. Remember I also installed the coil spacers. There is plenty of room from just looking at it, but I haven't put the suspension through its paces yet. I'd ask others who actually have 9" wide wheels.

About the same from my estimate. They fit tight up against the fender openings.

I'd say they are quieter than the T/A kos, and ride smoother as well. While you can hear them more than the Goodyear SR-A's that I replaced, they are still very quiet and you really have to listen for them just to notice. The BFG at tires have a stiff sidewall that makes for a harsher ride. They also clog with mud way too easily. I haven't put but maybe 10 miles on these Nittos, but just from looking at the tread I'd say they'd self clean much better.

Did you have to specify an offset of is that just a standard wheel?

Very nice Sammy. You have just sold me on the fender flares. I was thinking I wanted them but I'm for sure now. Guess its time to save some money cause I know if I get the flares I'm gonna have to get wider bigger tires. I also like the choice of rims. Those are just nice enough but not bling bling. I am not a big fan of chrome. I would like to get some rims similar to yours but powder coated black. Thanks for posting your truck is sweat.

One more thing I see you left the flares black. They look good on your truck. I wonder what they would look like on my truck since its silver. Just not sure it would look right. Im not to sure I would like them painted to match either though. Any thoughts?

The backspacing on the Stingray is 5", so it should be an offset of 1 inch or 25.4mm.

I think that is a personal decision, but I think it would look good left black.

I'm surprised you went with the Daystar kit considering the problems with the shocks.
