soft amber lights picked up at radioshack with the resistor already built in. i tapped into the cigarette lighter for power.

yeah, thats the bench seat. night time illumination is juuuust enough. i get great visablity of the contents in the cup holders but its not enough to distract you at all while driving at night. the color match is perfect with the dash lights.
This is what i used.
I'll try the overhead mood light next. I think its gonna take an led with about a 100 MCD rating and a smaller view angle as well.

Try getting some luxeon LED's for the overhead lights. Just a suggestion...you can always run them at less power if you want.

Here is 4 LED's on my ATV 2 blue ones and 2 red ones

1 Red 1 Watt LED should be plenty. The pic is 2, 1 watt reds and 2, 3 watt blues. I want to replace my dome lights and Tailgait lights with them, maybe even the Bed light.

PM me if you have any questions.

there are a number of stores that sell them. you can search here

http://www.candlepowerforums.com or do a google search I suppose. You can probably get away with a cheap inefficient circuit for the driving them since the titan has a large battery, especialy if you want to run 3 in series.

yea I lub my quad, thats what I got the titan for! TO get that beast to where it loves to play. Good thing it is fast enough to backup the riceness as some call it. But hey, it's not neons, and with all the tickets people have been getting from rangers for not having a taillight I dare them to try n give me one!

I was thinking about doing a red one in the rear light in the cab, but it will be a while as I have too many other projects floating around right now.

Damn, that makes the quad look pretty sick! I've been wanting to do the same to my R1 but I am not too comfortable working with that kind of stuff.

I like the cup holder light idea a lot.

The bigger LEDs look like a good solution for a light under the hood. Anyone hear of some sort of a mercury replacement switch that can be hooked up inline?
