I just thought I'd post some pics from a couple of days ago. This was the first time using the truck for the purpose I bought it for. The smoke is a friend of mine. We were leaving the hotel in Rosamond Ca. to Willow Springs Raceway. Trackday!

Nice. I bought my truck for the same reason... to tow my bike to the track. I've since gotten a small enclosed trailer, so now I can put a tonneau cover on the truck.
What organization do you ride with? Do you race too? I primarily ride with NESBA.

Not you wish you bad luck, but you're a brave man to track without frame sliders!!
I crashed at Barber 2 weekends ago. The frame and axle sliders kept the body from touching the ground.

I plan on getting a racers license sometime but not just yet. It'll just be too difficult to get the days off to go racing. I had sliders on before but took them off to get another pair, different brand but never did. You know what... I actually did go down in June without sliders but the bike came away OK. it was a 50-60 mph lowside. Got lucky. I'll throw on another set before my next trackday. When you coming out to the west?

I've actually been thinking about coming out for a TD at Laguna. After seeing MotoGP there, I have to get my bike on that track. Maybe sometime next year. I'm just having a hard time convincing my girlfriend to drive clear across the US so that I can do a track day while she sits in the paddock reading a book.
