Re: Vegas Desert

Hey Fridge,

Looks like a lot of fun. How's your stage 2 holding up?

BTW, what step bars are those?

Re: Vegas Desert

i've been waiting for something bad to start happening(knock on wood)but so far so good. only got some creaking noises, i presume from the urethane bushings. i wasn't really sure if any of these pics were articulate enough to go one that post. maybe this weekend i will specifically venture out just to post on that thread.

btw, custom steps. came in handy, coming down a hill wich turned into a deep muddy slide, there was a good sized rock hiding. scrztched the sliders about a foot/half. if it was my rocker panel/door, that woulda sucked
but looks like i just through on a layer of paint one day after i finally wash it.

Re: Vegas Desert

Good pics. Keep them coming. Are you running the Pro Comp coil overs? If so, are they rebuilt or newer version ones?

Re: Vegas Desert

Looks like a blast, that's some gorgeous scenery out there too. Oh yeah, also nice seeing a good coat of wax on the truck, look at those water beads in the first pic.

Re: Vegas Desert

i've taken the truck out 3 times since getting the lift. i checked the date of production with procomp according to the product #'s on the box. they said that the coilovers were the old ones and would put me on the list for the new ones. but so far, i am very pleased with how the handle everything i've thrown at them. i've purposely been trying to find the noises that others have talked about. i even floor it when approaching speed bumps and whoops on the trail to where i now i'd get enough air for full droop. still nothing, crossing my fingers that maybe i just got lucky. i wonder if i should still swap in for the new ones.

?do those that had the pc coilovers, did your problems appear right away or was it later on. and did it progressively get worse or was it just unbearable right off the bat? thanks.
