Pics of Audio/Video Switcher, Rear Cam & Game Port

Here are some pics from my 2005 Titan LE Crew. I just added an audio video switcher, DVD/MP3 player and Rear Camera from AV Electronic. Sam at AVE was fantastic with his support. They manufacture the switcher and were very helpful with all of my questions. The switcher can send up to 4 audio/video sources to up to 4 separate screens. I have the standard Nav screen up front and added a 9" LCD to the overhead in back.

I also added a Game Port up front that includes a 110 volt power outlet and audio/video inputs. The switchter also includes a TV Tuner and an S-video input which I use for a PC that has a bunch of MP3's, etc. and lets me get on the net via WIFI.

Using the switcher's remote, I can choose which of the 4 video inputs I want to see on the front screen or view the standard NAV display or the Rear Camera display. The Rear Camera automatically comes on when the truck goes into reverse or I can manually choose to bring it up on the screen. (The quality is amazing by the way!) Using the remote, I can cycle through the inputs on the rear screen as well.

The place that did the installation of everything had the game port. I hadn't originally planned on it but, after seeing it, and realizing that I could plug in a gaming console, computer, charger, etc. I figured "why not?" since I was getting everything else done. The inverter for the outlet is about the size of a paperback book and is mounted next to the Nav DVD under the passenger seat.

Something else I didn't mention is that the TV antenna fits very nicely above the front mirror at the top of the windsheild. You can't even see it unless you lean forward in the seat and look up. And the game port fit nicely in the round space where the 4X4 knob goes (I think.) Mine isn't a 4X4. So there was no modification to the dash for the port which was cool.

Very nice! Is the PC installed in the truck or do you just plug in a laptop? I guess I'll be the one to ask...if you don't mind, how much did it set you back...not counting the computer?

ye real nice...Ive seen that "game port" before...if I can locate a link Ill post... I remmeber it being like 49.99 or something (where I found it at least)

ye and u got pics of the computer and how is mounted as well? how many degrees is that reverse camera also?

I really like this setup...

Got any pics of the PC if its not a laptop hookup?

I dont think u can really consider that a "game port." Most the "game ports" Ive seen come with the AC plug and the RCAs so u can easily connect an xbox or PS2 or whatever hence the name..."game port" nice find though for a nice RCA jack/input...lol

anyways, I was wondering if u could post a pic of the audio/video switcher itself...also if u have it, a part number and a price....thanks

ye I ordered 2 last week...they should be in Monday...they shoulda been in this friday but there was a "late train" is what UPS tracking said...so tomorrow I will post pics if they come in

and it says special but thats been their price for a while now
