new foglights installed

whats up everyone? i just installed my hella 6" fog lights and a set of no-name 6 inch fogs in my lower grill. I just cut out the inner part of the stock plastic molding. They're not wired yet, i need to find a better way to mount the lights. the plastic molding is pretty flimsy, so i have to find a way to reinforce it. Either way, if anyone has an idea on how to mount them better, let me know. I'm not what you'd call fabricating inclined.

These look really good there. If you figure out a decent mounting system, post it up!

Re: new foglights installed

i mounted mine upside down..if you look there are 3 holes where the plastic clips hold the plastic to the bumper on the top. i had to drill out the holes to fit the size of my hela stud, then just tighten down and enjoy..oh and i paid to have my alarm/video guy install them with breakers and a nice toggle switch.

if you have any ?'s let me know.
and i have four lights too..i just keep one off just incase i catch a rock and need to replace one (if the lex sheild cover on the light were to ever fail)

Re: new foglights installed

Just be glad you don't have the plastic bumper. It doesn't have any metal to mount the lights upside down.

Re: new foglights installed

Those look awesome in the grille cavity guys! I wish I'd done that instead of mounting mine on the bullbar. There's a member here who has mounted them in an aftermarket mesh grille with some bent aluminum mountings. I'm trying to find his thread. It looked really cool. Gimme a minute.

Here's one. Not the one I was thinking of, but still nice.

New offroad lights....

Here it is! This is awesome! Check it out!
