Are you kidding? The G-wagon Gelandenwaggen from Merc is a great vehicle, I'd take one any day of the week (if I could afford it!) Haven't checked lately but I think they are running in the lower 70k range. THE WHEELS HOWEVER<GARBAGE
Re: dare to be different??? i need some feedback on this suv
i like it. i would get the g55 if i had the money. with my salary, i'd get an armada. but also remember that the g wagon is rated to be the safest SUV.

Does anyone read Consumer Reports. You would think a classy and expensive car would be a good one right.. well Mercedes Benz always comes in as one of the WORST reliable manufactures out there. I used to sell cars and I can’t tell you how many people hated their Merc. and wanted to get out of them.. too many repairs and not what they expected as a luxury car. Not all of them are bad and have issues but from what I read in CR and where they rank MBZ's and heard first hand from owners, my 2cents are don’t do it. I guess Reliability is a big thing to me. again.. thats only "my" 2 cents.

It looks like it was cut out of plywood and the only tool they had was a circluar saw. Not enough curves for me.
