Re: new mods Tint & off-road lights

Looks sharp! I'd be interested in seeing a nighttime with that many lights activated-may give someone sunburn!

How did you mount those in that spot? I saw a thread on someone with two, but just curious how you did that, Looks sharp and just the right color!

Re: new mods Tint & off-road lights

how I install the lights:
After reviewing the service manual theres 3 hole on top of the chrome bumper and 4 on the bottom.
To get to the 3 top ones is easy just pop up the plastic screws with a screw driver.(you mey need to used a drilled to make the hole bigger). I tried setting 3 lights on top but I didnt like it...
To install the light on the bottom you need to remove the black plastic so the hole can be vesible I tried installing the lights w/out the black plastic but I didnt like the looks, so I drilled holes through the plastic.
I had bought 2 pair of 6" kc light 100w the ones w/the chrome housing and they work good on the top, but since I went w/the buttom they didnt work because of the angle of the bumper (they dont swivel enough they point down)...
I already had a pair of the light I used they are 55w 5.5" (driving lights) and they swivel 180 degrees.
As for powering them right now I have them to power when I turn my headlights, but will install a seperate switch for each pair... since they are driving lights I should be able to used them @ night w/out blinding other drvers...

Re: new mods Tint & off-road lights

I would think 6" fogs would fit, I tried some kc 6" w/chrome housing they didnt fit and they wouldnt swivel enough to point straight...
this is the ones I tried http://www.kchilites.com/store/6-Sta...t-P166C91.aspx

but I would think something like this should fit http://www.kchilites.com/store/SlimLite-C17.aspx

yes two would fit but he wants to get 4 install, unless he drilles new holes on the chrome bumper they wont fit.

actually theres no room to drilled new holes other than where it shows on the diagram I attached. maybe if a bracket is built it would work
