A prelude to 1/7/07

Got the truck pretty filthy the other day. Man, it felt good! I found this fairly large construction site while driving to Crack Barrel with some friends in the morning.

At first glance, I really didn't know if it was just gonna be that usual, packed-down dirt or an all-out muddy area. Fortunately for me, the latter was true. I mean, it was DEEP, thick mud. I was BOGGIN' real nasty through this stuff. Mud was just plopping and slinging off my truck on the way out and into the parking lot at Cracker Barrel. Couldn't believe how many funny looks I got from people in other cars. I only wish I'd had an observer there to take some video. I'm gonna head out there again with someone to video record.

Looks like it was good fun. Gonna need a chisle to get that mud off. lol

I definitely had to pressure spray the mud off. I just gave it another basic bath tonight, and I still had mud caked on everything underneath the frame and chassis, lol.

Looks like you had fun, I've often thought about going to some old mud holes I use to take my Jeep Wrangler in but now I'm to old and fat to try to clean it all up.
