Best tool to manipulate Pics...

hey just wanted to see what suggestions ya'll have for (preferably free) pic editing software. adavis & agtitan06 have pointed me at a couple programs, one of which enabled me to make the pic below.
what i'm most interested in is pasting different wheel/tire combos & accessories on my truck. is there any way to do this, without spending a buttload on some sophisticated professional software? i think this would be useful to several TT members if we could get something figured out.

here's some Painting:

sorry the pic is so big...guess i need help resizing too!

The best freeware editor that I know is that paint.net program.
http://www.getpaint.net/index2.html

The best tool for resizing pics in windows is the resizer powertoy:
http://download.microsoft.com/downlo...ertoySetup.exe

This lets you right click any image, and resize it, it will save a copy in the same directory saved at the size/compression you select. No programs to open and mess with.

Irfan is very popular and free. I use it a lot. It's worth a look at http://www.irfanview.com/.

Re: Best tool to manipulate Pics...

For resizing, I just use paint. Works fine for me. Don't have anything free for editing, my wife already has photoshop.
