I've got it bad!!! Truck is on order (LE CC 4x4 Off Road, Tow, Nav, Sirius, Blizzard White) but not due until 2/20. I've already bought $300 of stuff - under seat storage, extra Utilitrack components for bike rack - see pics, IPOD attachments, trailer hitch & tie downs. Additionally, I'm committed (in my mind) to Stillen exhaust, Volant CAI, ?Stillen programmer?, and PRG leveling kit. But the worst - and almost afraid to admit it - I waxed the new trailer hitch and ball. Am I sick or what?
So much for the pics - I'm getting an error message about a 460K max and each pic is 1.56M - anybody help me on how to upload???
Pics aren't that great - just the bike racks I've built and freshly waxed hitch but I'd like to know what to do for future???

Upload them to a image sharing site like www.photobucket.com and when you upload them, the pics should re-size themselves. Then copy the IMG code and paste it into your post after all your text.

I personally prefer whatever's cheap. I'd club baby seals to death and squeeze oil from their limp little bodies if I could save a buck - Mr B
LOL... I guess that a .doc file works... that's an interesting way to post it... just get ready for more mods and fun accesories to buy once your truck get's in... I keep blaming TT for every purchase I make for my Titan every time the wife audits my checking account and asks, "where did your money go, and what did you buy this time???"

Hey, for those of us with bikes fill us in on the mounts you designed. Do the XSPORT fork mounts have that extra tab where you bolted on those utilitrack stops?
I'm about to start designing a bike rack for my CC bed and am looking around for ideas. I see you have a road bike from the tube boxes in the picture . You plan on having the rear tires sit inside the utilitrack rails on the floor or are you putting those fork mounts on the sides?
Oh, and get used to the mod fever.....it never goes away!

I was wondering if any other bikers might be interested... I cut the brackets out of 1" angle iron. I've included a couple more pics showing the angle iron I started with and the finished piece without the stop or fork mount. After a couple of experimental ones, it was pretty easy to do. I did it on my table saw with a steel saw blade - I was surprised how well it cut.

Good eye! I actually have a tri bike (Kestrel KM40), road (Cannondale six13) and mountain (Trek Y21 - next one to be upgraded)

My plan is to put the mounts on the front of the bed and have the rear tires in the bed grooves. I hadn't thought about side ways but I don't think they'd fit. Because of the design of the stops and the way the utilitrack fits on the front, I'm afraid I may have to remove the front utilitrack piece to get the stops in - but won't know for sure until I actually get the truck. But that's why I cut a groove in the bracket to attach to the stop instead of just drilling a hole. I'll follow-up with pics including the bikes in a month!
I'm pleased with how this has come together so far, but I'll know better when I actually have the truck to try it out. Let me know any other ?
