I mounted the switch next to the rear window switch on the bottom left dash. The switch did not fit very well so I had to saw the factory plug cover and glue the rocker switch into the cover housing so it would snap in there. It sits back a little but it works...

Re: Aftermarket fog/driving lights...Silverbeast request

I have a 2006 XE King Cab. I like the look of these lights. Can i ask where you got them from ad how hard were they to install. I am pretty much a technical neophyte when it comes to installing things. But I bought the truck to learn how to do these things. Please let me know. Thanks

Re: Aftermarket fog/driving lights...Silverbeast request

I got my lights from Advance Auto Parts. The installation was not too awful bad. The running of the wires and relay takes a little time. I modified the factory cover plug to mount the switch...which took a little time. The brackets for these lights are not the best so I had problems with them falling, but eventually used epoxy at the screw locations and have since had no issues. Overall it was not a bad project but I have had experience wiring and modifying vehicles.
