Image file is too large?!?

I've seen this type of post all over the forums and thought I'd try and help...
If you are having problems loading your pictures b/c they are too big this thread might help...
If you have a windows operating system the easiest way to resize a picture using standard software is to open the picture in paint.
To do this:
-right click on the picture
-hold the curser over "open with"
-select "Paint"
Now paint will open with your picture. To resize:
-select "image" on the upper left tool bar
-select "Stretch and Skew"
-change the top %'s to 50 and this will bring your picture to half it's size.
If image file is still too large to load, adjust again. Here are some attachments of me doing this process...
