Re: Lifted 6"

IMO its the best mod you can do to a titan....assuming you dont mind the 10-12 MPG.

So far the PC is great, ride is close to stock...the only thing im dissappointed with is that i discovered is that with the Fabtech you can go a little bigger than 6" with some of PRG's goodieds. But at the same time...35s is all i need.

ditto on the 35's. my wife's a shortie so more than 6" would not be a good thing in her opinion. one quick question that's actually not too far off topic:
what kinda shocks did you go with? DR or Bilstein or PC?? i've heard the PC shocks pretty much suck. did you do any other special modifications to your suspension? also, how much to install & who did it, or did you DIY?

thanks!

Re: Lifted 6"

stock shocks.

I did it myself it was a cake walk other than having to cut and drill some bolts out. With letting PB Lube soak it still wasnt enough for this former Ohio truck...everything was rusted! And then one mistake where I skipped over flipping the tie rods...that sucked driving around for 2 days without having any turning radius (didnt have time to flop them).

It took me like 2 days but I had to find a new a-arm as when cutting out a bolt i tore up the bushing.....which nissan or any other manu. doesnt sell seperate.

sorry i blabbed too much

nah it's good info. yeah i prolly won't even try to tackle the lift on my own as i have no real tools and no garage. i just need to find out who's the best to install...

very noticably stiffer in the cab. Personally, i don't mind it, but it may bother some passengers. But when compared to riding in my friend's truck (deaver mini-pack), the ride in my truck is pretty harsh. Try using a 1" block w/ the mini pack if you don't want a harsh ride.
