Re: Sti Jump

I saw that on the Discovery channel a couple of weeks ago on Stunt Junkies. If I remember right, he set the record for the longest jump in a car. They started out small and then moved the launch ramp back a couple of times. It was all done with Physics in mind...all math all the time. They had to add weight to the car to make it go through the air flat. On that jump he actually went past the landing spot and almost landed on the flat, past the ramp. The car took quite a hit.

Re: Sti Jump

Thats awesome! I want one. Seeing the videa I was thinking "that sure looks like the mx track in Lake Elsinore" and as I read down it was. That would of been sweet to witness.

Re: Sti Jump

Sign me up for that ride!
I wonder how a Trophy Truck or CORR truck would do on a specially built ramp?
The "Laughlin Leap" ramp isn't made for pure distance.

i love my subie! it is so f-ing awesome. my favorite part about it is the all wheel drive. i can launch it so hard and all she does is go go go. its pretty fun to drive. it has an APS intake, 3' turbo back exhaust, bov and ecutek ecu flash. shes puttin almost 300 big ones to the floor...
