from what i gather, serious off road guys don't like big shiney rims because they aren't functional, thus they call them "disco trucks" because they are shiney, and in their eyes, pointless... you need some beadlockers!
as for me, i'll probably be rockin black 24's on 35's sooner or later.... ok make that later
Kartman has deemed those w/ 20" rims on 35" tires "disco"...since they're basically street trucks that probably won't ever see off-road action. I saw this at a store, and thought "that would be pretty damn funny"
well guess my 17's w/ 33" mud tires makes mine non-disco...although sometimes disco looks pretty good (hypersport's truck)

Yeah I dont think thats right, I trashed the sh*& out of my truck and I have had 3 different types of wheel and tire combo's on my truck. I think some guys are just jealous. I know that my 20's cost way more than the 17" and 18" set ups I had...but I wasn't a p**** about it, if I had the opportunity to jump it and have fun I did it. in fact I was harder on the truck after I got the 20's (blew out both axle seals and snapped one front half shaft during our photo shoot for Fox Sports Net). please don't get me wrong theres nothing wrong w/ 17's if your going to rock crawl and play in rocky areas, you can air down and have a smoother ride, or you can be a man a fly over them going fast oh and as far as "Disco" trucks... I dont think I would take anything to heart from someone who wants a set of pen15 wheels, after all he has yet to deny the fact that he wants them???
