Re: Who said a lifted Titan with 35's is slow?!? (VIDEO!)
For me the bigger tires made the truck a lot slower.
my 315's are pretty close to the pro comps 35" as both come to about 34"
I got my truck dyno'd with the 315's, on regular gas, Volant CAI, and magnflow muffler and it came to 245 at the rear wheel.
When it was bone stock I got it dyno'd at 260, I estimate the exhaust and intake added 10.. . therefore the tires swap must have lost me 25HP!!!
In the real world it would most likely be higher than 245 or 260 as we had to dyno in 3rd gear. 5th is overdrive, and we could not dyno her in 4th as engine would cut off once it hit 110mph. It was pretty scary seeing my truck on the dyno as tires are loud as hell once you go above 90 and they got really big!
The tuner was impressed though, he said he did not think a stock Nissan could get those numbers and it matched what he saw stock Hemi's got.
