I would not strap the tire like that. I did it once in some whoops, tire dented the crap out of my bed.

Re: Proper use of Uni-Trak system...

Bottle opener from some bar supply on the net' but I did the mounting with alum plate and fabed the cap catcher below...

Class 40, bike 406x Kent Perkins/Mike Langer.
Actually 2 teams under PSP Racing, the other was a 30 team Mike Mann. Each had their own chase crew, but all worked togather.

The 30 team did fair, pulled a sixth spot, the 40 team was in third just before Erendira beach. Rider got pitched off the bike into a bunch of barb-wire, gut himself open enough he was out of the race, got another rider to replace him, but many hours down...

Dented the bed? It's tied down real tight, so no slaming the bed, but just the weight?

Re: Proper use of Uni-Trak system...

Tied down real tight gets loose in the whoops, so it was banging up and down.

Now I put it vertical in the left front corner, no issues in the rough.

I can see that...With my present setup I can get a bike loaded in on the rt side. Most of the time I haul a complete bike to strip parts off if needed.
I'll keep a close eye on the straps in the future, thanks

Good showing!

And I don't see how much movement the wheel would have if belted down firmly... but experience tells where theory fails. I'd trust kartman's word on this one.

What are those things attached to the uni-trak above the bottle opener? are they modified stop cleats? or is that what the newer Titans are coming with?
