There were a few interesting things there, but nothing jaw dropping. The Toyota FJ challenge was fun though. I was really impressed what those things could do. Especially stock ones! I might be on the market for one soon.

I was there yesterday.... Dan V was hanging with the DMZ and Sud crew. Also saw Greg and wife there checking things out. It was the same old stuff as last year. The MX show was cool

It was amazingly stable @ extreme angles. I purposely threw it into a 45* off camber turn and it felt as stable as a rock! All the techno gadgets that come on it actually work well too.

Re: Look what I saw today @ the off road expo

yeah those FJs are pretty sweet for off roading by the looks and shape of it. too bad all the ones in my area are driven by women. i think it may turn into a girly consumer car if they don't get rid of that white top.

different edge but for a 4.0 V6 i would stick with an xterra.

FJs are mountain goats. will climb just about anything and when properly equipped literally everything, but almost eliminate much of the skill many rockclimbers gain through experiences. the computer controlled traction control is amazing and adjusts and compensates for the slightest thing.

actually here's the video of a girl in an FJ climbing Hell's Gate in Moab, Utah...
A FEMALE for the FIRST time!!!!

as far as the toyota truck with the PRG logo, as Pete mentioned its Dan Vance's truck dubbed "Kung Fu" i believe. Greg's got the whole suspension dialed in on that thing!
