Well it was a combination of a hill, a sloppy mudhole, and a few adult beverages lol. Think it just needed a little tug from the side to get it free.

Re: Got stuck, and it is still stuck

when you were pulling with the tractor was your wife or someone in driving the truck at the same time?

Have you tried any digging at all? It looks like you have a couple feet of trench behind your back wheels, dig yourself the same on the fronts and you should be able to get a roll going and walk it out. That soil looks to be some miserable sticky clay loam crap and maybe the pictures don't do it enough justice, but it looks like 20-30 minutes of digging will get you home in my opinion.

Re: Got stuck, and it is still stuck

Thanks guys, yes the wife was in the truck driving when I was pulling with the tractor. I got it jacked up, and got some flat metal under the tires, and some landscaping timbers in there also. I also put some sand in to help with traction, the sand around here when wet gets pretty hard. I got some more pics I will post later. I will probably try to drive it out tomorrow morning, it will be dark in less than 2 hours and I don't want to make it worse. I will pull with a long rope on the tractor and get my wife to drive. My internet has been down until just now, that is why I haven't updated until now.

Re: Got stuck, and it is still stuck

use a back hoe

it will lift the front end and then pull you out

it worked for me...

Re: Got stuck, and it is still stuck

Here are some pics. Man that is some hard a** work. It never broke 45 degrees today, and it has been having a light rain all day. Will try to get it out tomorrow morning. Wish me luck, I would hate to have to start all over.

A few more. BTW the receiver hitch is VERY strong, I was lifting the left rear tire of my tractor.

It is only 40 acres, but it is surrounded by timber company land. My nearest neighbor is about 3 miles away, I see him every now and then when I am waiting for my kids at the bus stop. Yes all the toys help alot. I got the land and the house for less than I could have gotten a lot and a double wide where I used to live. Guess I am going to have to change the pic on the left.

Re: Got stuck, and it is still stuck

Good luck getting it out tomorrow I'd come help, but I'm 90 miles away. If I were a little closer, I'd be out there helping!

I appreciate that, a couple of guys had said that. It is to bad that I live so far away from everyone else. Thanks anyway.
