Awesome pics! I used to love that trail when I had a 4x4 . I too didn't know that it went all the way to another road. Then that road eventually connects to the SR-160 (Blue Diamond Rd.). That would be one hell of a fun weekend drive to go from the Red Rock Scenic loop through that trail to the 160 and then back into town! Or you could do it backwards and not have to pay the $5 entry fee to the scenic loop hahaha.

Its called Potato ridge. Basically you will end up on the Pahrump side of the mountain on I-160. I did it numerous times in my 88 GMC with only 33X12. All you really need is 4wd and not care a lot about your paint. If I remember correctly there were a lot of bushes and branches rubbing on the truck.
But than again last time I did it was probably 4 or 5 years ago.
If the bushes are not too bad I might be interested in taking my Titan through there.
The TerraGrapps did pretty good, there were some places that I had to double pedal to get through but they did very well for A/T's.
No scratches on the paint, hardly any bushes close to the trail but it be a seasonal thing for all I know. But, I did catch a running board on a rock and tear it up a little on the way back down because I let myself get distracted answering questions the kids were asking. Running Boards have to stay on for wifey and her family until I can afford some N-Fabs.
I've been thinking the same thing about the reverse route. I figure that I need to spend a day following it all the way through sometime so I know what to look for when going the back way then I should be good to go.
Potato Ridge, huh?? Nice to finally know the name of the place.
I think these were most of the driving pics but the rest of the pics are uploaded here in case anyone wants to see more of the scenery through there:
Wow, that looks like you had a great time. It's nice to see Armada owners taking them off-road, instead of to a soccer game...
Your setup looks great. Do they make SAWs for the Armada?

Thanks!!! Yea they make SAWs, the front end is exactly the same as the Titan so everything for the Titan works. The rear is the only difference and a Nissan Tech in Okc showed me that the Independant Rear Suspension is pretty easy to work with if a person doesn't mind drilling some holes into it. A little bit of grinding and drilling with a couple re-adjustments and he got me all fixed up just the way I wanted it.
Sorry, no video. I guess that I'll need to teach the kids how to capture video for the next time.
