By definition they are breaking the rules, remember they are ilegal. So in your opinion it is ok to break certain rules, but they must follow others.

I've been thinking that maybe I should start smuggling some up from the border to get some mod money. I sure would like to get the Nismo exhaust and headers.

I do have some native in me. But besides that they are breaking the laws in place right now, we can't do anything about the laws that were broken hundreds of years ago. If you feel the laws are to strict try doing something about them. Well your cuban friend did the right thing, and I respect him for that, and your panamanian friend also sounds like she is doing the right thing. Anyone here ileaglly should NEVER be allowed to become a citizen, and I call my representatives and let them know my feelings.

Kinda funny how history keeps repeating itself over and over. We've always had "issues" with Immigration in the US and it's the foundation of who we are today. Remember the old stories of when the Czechs, Polish, Italians, Irish, Germans (my Grandparents ), and others were coming over and setting up "their" districts in their own languages?? The American/Mexican border has quite a bloodshed history behind it but let's face the fact that the Mexican Government can barely handle the amount of land they already have, much less adding to it. Maybe the people want more area to spread but I cannot imagine that their government would.

How about when I say that my wife is Thai and she is more livid about the illegal immigration than I am because of the fact that it's not fair to her family who's here. She says it's not fair at all to only be accomodating spanish influctations but good luck getting anything publicly printed in Thai, Japanese, German or any other language for our other legal immigrants. Thinking about that kinda adds a different perspective doesn't it?? Reminds me how important it is to keep everything in English.

The fact that I keep pointing out to her is that this is all temporary. The US is going through a "stupid" phase where everyone wants to stupidly give in to minority groups w/o thinking it through. It's only a matter of time before people start thinking again enough to speak up and reverse the affects. It's nothing that we as US citizens haven't been through before.
