Well I have been posting on here for a little while and have come to like alot of you guys trucks (especially the ones with the new front ends hehe).
Anyways, I am in the process of pulling my driveline outta my Sierra to be put in my new 2wd Ext cab Silverado I bought... then im gonna sell my Sierra stock (I needed an Ext Cab). I just figured I would post my specs and some pics of the build... figured maybe some of you guys would be a little interested in learing about the GMs. If this is overboard feel free to let me know and Ill delete any of my post/pics or a mod can do it... I am not trying to start anything... just trying to share with my fellow truckers.
Thanks for looking
-Bill

New Converter: Fuddle 3600
New Heads: Patriot Performance Stage II 243s (LS6 heads)

In addition to that stuff I am having my transmission looked over and rebuilt as I was running a stock unit before, LS7 Lifters, ASP Underdrive Pulley kit, Custom Wheatley Tune and 8.1 liter 32lb injectors
Existing Mods:
Longtube Headers w/X pipe
Electric Fans
Cold Air Intake
Ported/Polished Throttle Body
And I am sure there are a bunch of other little things I am leaving out. Hopefully this will get me around 425rwhp and put my Extended cab in the low 12s on all motor. Now onto the pics
Here is what it looked like after it was pulled out (I had a front main seal leak, hense the disgustoness of oil everywhere lol).
And here is what she currently looks like after being cleaned up.... heads should be in today and hopefully ill get it put back together this weekend if my cam comes in
Looking good so far. Stripped down with that power you should easily be in the lower 12's. Keep it up.

Thats a potent package youre putting together there! Ive seen the standard cab short bed 4x4 on 1320video.com and that thing really moves out, hes turbo charged also. Ive seen the dyno videos where its making over 1000hp to the wheels. Do you have any plans for forced induction down the road??
Now if only GM would make a true "SS" truck with the Z06 427 under the hood, regular cab, short bed, 2wd.....

Bhudda454: Ya I plan to do a little gutting... like the back seat, maybe the tailgate and a couple little tihngs... dont wanna get to crazy though, I still wanna do 12s at street weight ya know
ryands650x: Ya that is Parish8 on PerformanceTrucks.net, his truck (used to be his... he sold it to some guy in Mexico I believe) was twin turbod 408. Beautiful truck. As far as mine the only plans I have after this is a Fast90 Intake and newer injectors... MAYBE a 75 shot to put me in the 11s a couple times lol.
Juday: In all honesty I cant see GM ever doing that... they seem to have problems with building what performance applications ppl want for some reason or another. I cant say 100% but imo that concept SS 427 will never see the streets.
DeadRiver: Ya unfortunately I havent been posting on many sites aside from Performance Trucks, but I am gonna try to keep up from now on lol. LOL as for the carpeted garage, I wish that was as big as a garage... thats my mud room lol, its probably about 11'x5', and not to mention I have all my tools, parts, and an HD hood in there
Warp09: Yes Parish sold his truck sorry to say, if you get bored one day leaf through this thread... it explains it all http://performancetrucks.net/forums/...ghlight=parish
As long as I am in near mid 12s in the extended cab I will be happy with it, I think I should be near low 12s but I dont wanna get my hopes up. Of course you know as well as I do how long that hapiness last before you need your next 2-3 tenths of a second shaved off.
Nice pics! I am sure you are itching to get it buttoned up. I wish we had the support like you guys have with your domestics. All we need is a new head option and we could be easliy doing the times you mention.

Im not 100% sure but I dont think he ever did, that would have been cool for sure (9 second 4wd street truck). There are several others in the 9s though... Blacksheep & Twotoneblown are atleast 2 I know of.
